Algarve, Portugal!!

We chose southern Portugal mainly due to the weather.

Algarve region is said to have more than 300 days of sunshine per year.

The temperature was mostly 20degrees all through out our stay. It was an escape paradise from the harsh winter of Germany.

This region also has more than 100 miles of Atlantic ocean coastline and beaches.

Every day was a unique experience. Be it the sunset the beaches the food everything was amazing.

Most people there were very friendly and helping, though not many spoke English they went out of their way to help us whenever we needed something.

The imposing cliffs, turquoise waters, golden beaches and fascinating sea caves, the Algarve region in Portugal was a pleasant surprise to us, far surpassing our expectations! The pictures do not do justice to the beauty of the stunning rock formations and beaches in Algarve.

Don’t miss to take a walk along the cliff to take in the stunning view.The contrast between the red cliffs, blue waters and the green pine trees make for a magical view.

At the top of the cliffs, there is a hiking trail from where you can take in the spectacular views.

The beaches there is considered to be one the most beautiful beaches in the world.

The crystal clear waters are supremely inviting, even during the winters!

Beautiful blue waters, golden sand and the surrounding cliffs make it a one of a kind place.

During the offseason, the beach is nearly empty and you’ll have the whole place to yourself and to the beach we went it almost felt like we were on a private beach.

If you wish you could also experience nude beaches. Most beaches are tolerated beaches and some are exclusively nude beaches. Choose according to your preference.

Algarve region has a lot more to offer – from historic towns to take in the culture to beautiful sea caves and cliffs for nature enthusiasts; from the serene waters of the Mediterranean to the wild waves of the Atlantic; from peaceful small towns to vibrant party places – there is a host of experiences to be had, in addition to the spectacular beaches in Algarve.
