Maldives the summer paradise!! 🏖

This amazing cluster of Islands is one great place to visit for any beach lover. You can spend day and night on the beach without worrying of time clicking.. especially when you are out there during summer the nights  you spend inside of the beach water is gonna be a dream come true .. and the day light will give you an amazing view inside as well outside the crazy blue water.. you will enjoy the vast sea view and can go snorkeling for a variety of sea species .. not just that but water sports could be an added advantage to your bucket list.. Maldives could be your most romantic getaway or an adventures getaway  as and how you plan the space .. food not so great and alcohol is restricted and will be available only in the floating bar far from the shore. And if you are sun allergic , tons of sunscreen is not gonna be helpful..thus making the place a must visit during summer yet not during summer ..

You can plan your visit budget friendly or as a luxurious holiday as per your needs. We considered visiting Maafushi and the capital Malè. We prebooked most of the inside travel, hotel stay and water games except for few which we ended up discovering there.

It was a 6 days trip.

The first day we arrived at the airport and we were taken to the hotel by speedboat arranged by the hotel. Speedboat again is great if you get to hit the front. Unfortunately airport doesn’t provide free wifi and had to end up using the help desk every now and then.

The second day was the most romantic of the 6 days long trip .It was our first candle light dinner. Since it was our honeymoon trip it turned out to be extra special and memorable. This was again prebooked and we were allowed to choose the menu at the table. The scene to me is still so vibrant . Candle light all around the table ,the subtle beach waves so pleasant, the cold breeze lifting our mood and the loved one by you..this is a must experience for any couple.

The third day was a yet again fascinating when we got to watch dolphins, we jumped like we were one of them and by evening we went fishing to fill our tables for dinner..and of course it had something more , we got to enjoy the sunset along with fishing somewhere in the mid sea.

The fourth day we went Island hopping and snorkeling. This will be enjoyable despite you being an amateur or expert. Since you are geared up with everything needed you can happily enjoy the under water. You’ll get to see a lot of different under water species like turtles, sharks (human friendly) , stingrays and so much more.Once you are done you will be taken to a near by sand bank to have lunch. .and then yet again into the ocean snorkelling else were. Not just this but you can also hire a private snorkelling kit to discover the nearby beach zone..wherein you’ll find Corals and other colourful underwater species not very far from the shore.

The fifth day was water sports day ..except for scuba diving we tried everything available around us there. To precisely list it out..we went parasailing, snorkelling, fun tube, kayak and jet ski.

And the last day we were off to Malè exploring the city side experience of the great Maldives and one major highlight there was the submarine tour. It has limited number of seats so make sure you prebook it. The submarine tour takes you deep inside the ocean almost hitting the sea bed level.. this will give you a lot more than you expected. You will be accompanied by specially trained scuba divers and they will be feeding the underwater species so that you get a better view of them near your windows.

And finally this is how we enjoyed and explored Maldives. 🙂

Shino’s tips on this trip:

*Best time to visit Maldives is between November to April and not during the peak summer(May, June)

*There is no need to pre-book watersports..you can either ask your Hotel to arrange for you with a discount or you can go directly to any of the water sport providers and book the best possible offer or make them provide you the best 🙂

*If you’re someone who is scared of being in the ocean then you will not enjoy most of the places. Doesn’t matter if you don’t know swimming but make up your mind not to be scared when in water, only then you will enjoy.

*Alcohol is not available in any Island where locals reside alongside. But there are floating bars a little far from the coast and you can enjoy your shots there.

SHINO’S LIMERICK:
